The Northshore Camellia Club was founded in June of 2005 by Jim Campbell of Riverside Camellias. Founding Members included Jan Butler, Vincent Ciolino, Paul Heurkamp, Pamela and Kenneth Manis, Nova Mauthe, Max & Marie Mizell, Lynne Moore, Nick & Dale Piazza, Carrie Lee Schwartz, Jim and Elaine Smelley, and Peter and Lynnette Soules.

The first show held in Covington, Louisiana had over 900 blooms from over 5 States. The club has continued to grow both in blooms and members and continues its annual exhibition and sale every year in Downtown Covington.

Our leadership continues to explore and provide topics of interest for its meetings including field trips to expand the horizons of members in the use of camellias to compliment the overall landscape.
